3. What to Bring Day of Your Trip

1. Proper identification for the border crossing to prove U.S. citizenship:

- Original birth certificate and picture ID
- OR a Valid U.S. passport

NOTE: Passports are required ONLY if you are flying to Canada.
Arriving by bus on a school trip does NOT require a passport.

2. $30 (Total) U.S. Cash Collected on the Bus: 

- $20 Bill U.S. cash only-Refundable security deposit
- $10 Bill U.S. cash only-Non-Refundable Tremblant Resort Security Fee

3. Pillow/blanket/bottled water for more comfortable bus ride.

LUGGAGE LIMIT:

(1) Suitcase, (1) Equipment Bag, (1) small carry-on.

4. Spending money for meals (see discounts on back) ATM CARD or Credit Card is safest.

5. Warm clothes, gloves, hat, bathing suit, etc.

IMPORTANT: You will be changing clothes to ski and snowboard when you arrive. Please pack or dress for easy access to your ski clothing.

Room check-in is at 4:15 p.m. Ski Travel will receive the room key envelopes for check-in from the resort management when all rooms are clean and ready for the group usually by 4:15 pm. Please note that delays sometimes occur if the resort was over 75% occupied the night before.

4. Other Important Information

Trip Schedule / Discount Card (Important):
Upon arrival at Tremblant, students are given a laminated trip schedule/itinerary, which includes the mandatory check-in times for personally meeting with their chaperones. This policy is strictly enforced. Failure to check-in with a chaperone on time will result in a call to the parents and/or expulsion from the trip.

Meals/ The Discount Pass on the reverse side of the Trip Schedule Card. Discounts for food, shops, indoor pools, etc. Suggested amount per day for food is $35 US.

Many rooms have kitchens, pots pans, microwaves etc.

Money Exchange -ATM-Machines-Debit Cards::
ATM cards are the safest way for students to access cash from home bank accounts. Most debit cards will work. Some do not work in Canada. Please verify with your bank if card will work in Quebec, Canada. Warning most Visa, Amex, MC gift cards Do Not work in Canada.

Catholic Mass:
Roman Catholic Mass is Saturday 5:00 PM at the resort. St Bernard Chapel.

On Trip Activity Information:
Le Source (Indoor/Outdoor, Pools, Waterpark/Jacuzzis, Private showers for check-out day.) 20% off (Discount Rate) with PASS is about $12.00 CDN (subject to change by Tremblant). Evening Tubing, Ice skating is included with your free First Tracks pass.

Weather Conditions:
Check your paper for temperatures and forecast for Montréal and adjust temperatures about 10 degrees colder (for the mountains).

Check-Out Day:
On the last day of the trip, students are required to check-out of the rooms by 10:30 AM (to allow management to inspect units). Students should go skiing or snowboarding. Lockers are provided. We suggest students ski until 12:30 or 1pm and then buy a pass to the indoor pools/waterpark, Le Source (about $12). They can swim and take a private shower before the bus ride home.
